About Women of Expansion

Women of Expansion is a supportive, women-only community created for those who are ready to break out of their routine.

We curate a varied calendar of activities throughout the year - from local creative workshops to UK day trips and travel abroad—so we can all expand our horizons and truly enjoy our lives together.

This is more than a typical women's social club in London. It is a welcoming circle where we can build lasting friendships, lift each other up, and make the most of every weekend.

THE INTENTION

Women of Expansion was created from a simple belief: Life expands when you 'do'.

It happens when you make small decisions to say "yes" more often. To go somewhere new. To try something different. To be around people who are doing the same.

We wanted to create a relaxed space full of meetups for women where doing all of that becomes easy.

We handle the planning so you don’t have to organize everything yourself—you can simply decide to show up! It's the perfect way to find your tribe, make friends in London, and form the kind of deep connections that last long after the event has finished.

THE STANDARD

A great deal of thought and consideration goes into each of our events and meetups.

It is our aim to ensure that we choose the right venue and service providers, where necessary, to provide a truly lovely experience for all who attend.

Every part of Women of Expansion is designed to feel:

  • and genuinely enjoyable while you’re there.
WHY WE CHARGE A FEE

To keep our women's community well-organised and high quality, we charge a minimal hosting fee for our events. This small contribution simply secures your exact place within the circle, covers our planning and overhead costs, and lets us know that you are a real person who genuinely plans to turn up.

Also, to keep our calendar full of different experiences, we often feature events run by carefully selected external venues or specialist guides and for these activities, the links on our site will take you directly to their pages so you can book and pay them directly.

As we are still a young and growing community, you will need to pay for these experiences separately to the hosting, but we're working on streamlining these payments as the community grows.

THE APPROACH

There’s no pressure to be a certain type of person here. You don’t need to be outgoing. You don’t need to “fit in.” You don’t need to commit to anything long-term. You can come once, occasionally, or regularly. It’s designed to work around your life — not take it over.
